In the case of fire at the office:

If the alarm bell rings warning of a fire it is absolutely necessary to proceed to the nearest exit in an orderly fashion. If you are on upper floor of the building be sure to use the stairs and not the elevator. Do not stop to help your colleague who has stapled their eyelid to their lower lip. Move swiftly to the agreed upon meeting point. The meeting point should be safe distance from the building while allowing easy access for the fire brigade. This is so that all can be accounted for. This is also so that you have a good vantage point to the view the people who are not accounted for hurl their flaming bodies through plate glass windows.
