Animal testing
I strongly endorse the testing of drugs on animals. The effects have always been gratifying to the extent that we can see normally boring beasts engage in the most startling and interesting activities. While visiting a veterinarian friend of mine in Oslo I was privvy to the wonderfull science of drugging animals.

Two particular such experiments come to mind:

After feeding the normally dull and apathetic three-toed sloth ecstacy the animal executed four consecutive backflips and proceeded to dance to Bob Sinclair's "Love Generation" for six hours straight.

After feeding a chimpanzee some ritalin it retook the U.S. Presidency in 2004 beating out a howler monkey on crack in the Iowa primaries, and later a gibbon on mescalin on election day.

The benefits of this kind of thing are apparent and those experimenting with drugs and animals should not be persecuted for their good work. Thank you for your time
